William Larsen

William "Bill" Larsen, 64, Hammer, SD, died Monday, November 1, 2010, near Lidgerwood, ND, as a result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services were Monday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in New Effington, SD, with Rev. Harold Watrous officiating. Music was provided by organist Deb Bredvik.
Burial was in the Ferkingstad Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Ostby, Derek Ostby, David Ceroll, Cecil Stangeland, Jr. Bredvik and Dale Ostby.
Visitation was Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church.
William Clarence Larsen was born April 6, 1946, in Sisseton, SD, to Nelbert and Anna (Cloutier) Larsen. He was baptized at Ferkingstad Lutheran Church and attended school in Hammer.
William raised cattle, cared for his mother for over 30 years, and did odd jobs in the Hammer area. He enjoyed going to auctions and Thursday garage sales in Sisseton.
Survivors include two brothers, Leland Larsen of Annandale, MN, and Bradley Larsen of Murdo, SD; a sister, Judy (Nordeen) Brink of Murdo, SD; and several nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jim and Tom.
