Timothy Allen Doschadis

Timothy A. Doschadis, 55, Beardsley, MN, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Sanford Hospital in Wheaton, MN.

Funeral services were Monday, May 4, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Beardsley with Father David Breu officiating. Music was provided by organist Lana Sand and vocalists Sue Sykora, Kelsey Holtz, and Dan Haukos.

Burial was in the St. Mary Cemetery, Beardsley. Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Doschadis, Mike Doschadis, Steve Doschadis, Gary Doschadis, Tom Kontz, and the BNSF Railroad gang.

Visitation was Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the church in Beardsley. The Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt, SD, was in charge of the arrangements.

Timothy Allen Doschadis was born December 8, 1959, at the Wheaton Community Hospital, Wheaton, MN, to parents Ray and Joyce (Toso) Doschadis. He was baptized, confirmed and an active member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Beardsley. He attended Beardsley High School, graduating in 1978. In August of 1978, Tim became employed by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He took great pride in working side by side with his brothers Mike and Kevin.

Tim married Lisa Sykora and became the proud father of Angie and Darin. Eventually Tim and Lisa parted ways. Tim's children and grandchildren became the focal point in his life. He took great pride in raising children who are in the service of helping others, Angie a nurse, and Darin a National Guard Iraq War veteran.

Tim found new love in his life when he married Rebecca Haukos on July 20, 2011. Later that year he retired from the BNSF Railroad. Tim and Becky enjoyed life. In the car they would go with travels to Arizona, California, Montana, Nashville and Branson. Their favorite travels were to the homes of the grandchildren and their special events.

Tim was an avid sports fan. One of the highlights he witnessed was the CGB football team win their state title. Tim and Becky enjoyed spending time in the boat fishing and just going up and down Big Stone Lake. He lived his whole life in Beardsley and was proud to be a Beardsley citizen and serve on the Beardsley Fire Department. Tim will be remembered for his kindness and gentle spirit.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rebecca of Beardsley; children, Angie (Levi) Schultz of Wheaton, MN, Darin (Amber) Doschadis of Graceville, MN; grandchildren, Jaden, Brylie, Zander, Carlie, Tristen and Xavier; brothers, Kevin (Jill) Doschadis of Graceville, Mike (Donna) Doschadis of Watertown, SD, Steve (Nancy) Doschadis of Coon Rapids, MN, and Gary (Carol) Doschadis of Walker, MN; aunts, Janet (Butch) Anderson of Beardsley, Virgil Doschadis of Beardsley, Phyliss (Verle) Saxton of Arizona, and Evelyn Hennen of Morris, MN; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful friend and companion Timber.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Joyce; and grandparents, Leona and Arlie Doschadis and John and Anna Toso.
