Sylvia R. Myhre

Sylvia R. Myhre, 81, Rosholt, SD, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016, at the Northeast Care and Rehabilitation Center in Rosholt.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 4, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethania Lutheran Church in Rosholt, SD, with Rev. Nancy Quatier officiating. Music will be provided by organist Lana Sand.

Burial will be in the Trondhjem Cemetery, rural Rosholt. Honorary pallbearers will be David Dean, Brenda Gaulke, Thomas Dean and Sally Krenz. Active pallbearers will be Paul Meyer, Kim Kempton, Mick Hogan, Myles Peterson, Curt Alsaker and Wayne Braaten.

Visitation will be Friday from Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the church.

Sylvia Reneta Heilig Myhre was born December 2, 1934, to Karl and Marguerite (Anderson) Heilig in Nampa, ID.  She graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1952.

Survivors include her sister, Margaret Dean; nephews, David Dean and Tom Dean; nieces, Brenda Gaulke and Sally Krenz; and many other friends and family.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Marguerite Heilig; and her husband, Eugene Myhre.
