Stephen Wills, Jr.

Stephen R. Wills, Jr., 42, Browns Valley, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023, at his home in Browns Valley.

Private family services will be held.

Graveside services will be held in the Spring in the Valley View Cemetery, Browns Valley.

Stephen Ronnie Wills, Jr. was born June 27, 1980, to Stephen Ronnie Wills, Sr. and MarDana McCloud in Missoula, MT. He attended school in Missoula.

On September 6, 2002, Stephen married Alicia Joy Southam in Vernal, UT.  Stephen worked as an oil field technician in Utah, Colorado, and Alaska.  He loved Alaska and Montana and was overjoyed when his job took him to Anchorage for several years.

Stephen loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and being on a boat until his health issues caused him to give them up.  He loved his kids with a fierceness and devotion that was unmatched.  He was a wonderful, caring person with a huge heart and capacity to love his fellow man.  He will be sorely missed by his family and friends – who he considered family.

His struggle with his heart and the chronic pain that condition caused him is now over, but the love and compassion and memories he left behind will be cherished always.

Survivors include his wife, Alicia of Browns Valley; children, Stephanie Wills (Layne Nieber) of Aberdeen, SD, and Ethan, Robert, and DecLean Wills of Browns Valley; mother, MarDana McCloud of Browns Valley; siblings, Brandon Wills of Hawaii, MarDana D. McCloud, Joshua McCloud, and Matthew Scott all of Browns Valley.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Stephen R. Wills, Sr.; and his grandparents, Robert and Vera Wills.
