Patricia Mae Hansen

Patricia Mae Hansen, 77, of St. Cloud, MN, formerly of Beardsley, MN, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021, at Cherrywood Assisted Living in St. Cloud.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, at 10:30 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Browns Valley, MN. The funeral service will be livestreamed on the Eggers Funeral Home Facebook page.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Visitation will continue Friday one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery near Browns Valley. Casket bearers will be Patricia's grandsons: Harold Hansen, Joe Hansen, Justin Schaefer, Brice Schaefer, Tyce Hansen, Trevor Hansen, and Mitchell Hansen. Honorary casket bearers will be Patricia's granddaughters: Tara Schaefer, Chelsea Hansen, and Ashlyn Hansen; and granddaughter-in-law, Shelby Hansen.

Patricia Mae Price was born on July 24, 1943, in Sioux City, IA. She was the daughter of Eddie and Ethel (Tristler) Price. She attended school in Sioux City.

Patricia was united in marriage with Harold R. Hansen on July 25, 1959, in Sioux City and to this union five children were born. The family lived a short time in Sioux City and Franklin, MN, ending up in the Browns Valley/Beardsley, MN, area since the late 1960's. Patricia later moved to St. Cloud, MN, in 1983 then returned to the Beardsley, MN, area for a short time, moving back to St. Cloud for assisted living care.

Patricia enjoyed interior decorating, cooking for her family, bowling, talking with her sisters and brothers on the phone, and was proud of starting youth baseball and softball in Beardsley when her children were young.

Patricia is survived by her children, Harold (Nam) Hansen of Richmond, MN, Carla (Phillip) Schaefer of Waite Park, MN, Kenneth Hansen and fiancé Jodi Hook of Beardsley, and Lee (Christa) Hansen of Browns Valley; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Hartman of Lincoln, NE, Peggy (Bob) Case of Hawarden, IA, Audrey (James) Leming of Lincoln, Donna (Jim) Estes of Bartlesville, OK, Joe (Michelle) Kopecky of Atkinson, NE, Bob Kopecky of Lincoln, and Bonnie (Bob) Devall of Stratton, CO; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Hansen; her father, Eddie; her mother, Ethel; stepfather, Ivan Kliment; her maternal and paternal grandparents; siblings, Beverly Simoni and Barbara DeWald; brother-in-law, Duane Hartman; and granddaughter-in-law, Jenny Hansen.
