Linda was born on July 12, 1949, to George and Esther (Zastrow) LeClair. She graduated from Rosholt High School in 1967. On November 18, 1967, Linda married Rodney Sand, and they made their home on the farm. Rodney passed away September 24, 2003.
Linda was a loving, caring, hard worker who would help anyone at any time. She was a wonderful wife to Rodney and was a very good gardener and exceptional cook. She raised a big garden and canned and shared with friends. All of the LeClair kids had many great times at the farm and also with the neighbors.
Linda did craft sales with her beautiful sweatshirts. Someone once said, "She is an artist with fabric." She traveled with her sister, Janette, to craft shows in South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota for about 20 years.
Linda moved to Casa Grande, AZ, in 2006 after Rodney's passing. Linda and Dennis Birchem were companions until Dennis's passing on February 17, 2013. Bob came to live with Linda after retiring in 2019.

She is survived by siblings, Dorothy Schafte of Vancouver, WA, Dale LeClair of Battle Ground, WA, Lyle (Mary) LeClair of Anniston, AL, Roy (Fay) LeClair of Tuscaloosa, AL, Ray (Nancy) LeClair of Arden Hills, MN, her twin brother Lonnie (Marsha) LeClair of Fridley, MN, Dennis LeClair of Hot Springs, AR, Janette Brandenburger (Dean Eneboe) of Rosholt, and Bob LeClair of Casa Grande; aunts, Gladys Pearson of Rosholt and Ruth Olson of Sioux Falls, SD; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A kind, loving sister and friend, she will be greatly missed by her sisters and brothers.
