Lillian V. Boseth Boyd, 92, Rosholt, SD, died Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Northeast Care and Rehabilitation Center in Rosholt.

Funeral services were Thursday, April 16, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethania Lutheran Church in Rosholt with Rev. Nancy Quatier and Father Jerome Ranek officiating. Music was provided by organist Ruby Larsen and vocalists Paul and Lana Sand.

Burial was in the Trondhjem Cemetery, rural Rosholt. Pallbearers were Shannon Birchem, Scott Birchem, Lyle LeClair, Dennis Kallstrom, Jeff Meyer, Allen Birchem, Bob Beer, and Michael Rosenkranz.

Visitation was Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Lillian Virginia was born May 28, 1922, to Victor and Mary Margaret (Ryno) LeClair in Wheaton, MN. She grew up and attended rural school near Rosholt. After her mother's death, Lillian stayed home and helped on the farm.

On October 20, 1943, Lillian married Andrew H. Boseth. They farmed in Harmon Township. Andrew passed away February 27, 1978. Lillian continued to live on the farm until moving to Rosholt in 1998. She later married Ralph Boyd who passed away February 7, 2008.

Lillian was a member of Trondhjem Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid and taught Sunday school. She enjoyed gardening, canning, freezing and cooking. Lillian also liked mowing grass and tending to her flowers.

Survivors include four daughters, Peggy Boseth of Rosholt, Joyce (Allen) Birchem of Anoka, MN, Eileen (Robert) Beer of Plymouth, MN, and Elaine (Michael) Rosenkranz of The Villages, FL; two grandchildren, Scott Allen Birchem and Shannon Andrew Birchem; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Andrew and Ralph; grandson, Jeffrey Rosenkranz; sister, Margaret Aspelund; and eight brothers, Alfred, Laurence, Richard, Charles, Lester, Francis, George and John LeClair.
