Lawrence O. "Larry" Parrow, 72, Wheaton, MN, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at the Traverse Care Center in Wheaton.
Funeral services were Wednesday, June 8, at 1:00 p.m. at the Breckenridge Kingdom Hall in Breckenridge, MN, with Joen Bluin officiating.
Lawrence Orville was born April 3, 1939, in Chokio, MN, to Veloris and Mary (Schott) Parrow. He attended high school in Graceville, MN, graduating in 1957. Following graduation, he attended the MacPhail Music School in Minneapolis. Larry loved music, guitar, composing, and singing songs. He used his talent by entertaining at several lounges in the Minneapolis area.
Larry was also employed at a food testing lab in Minneapolis. He retired in 1999 and moved to Browns Valley to care for his mother. In 2002, he moved to Wheaton. He enjoyed nature, teddy bears, pictures of animals, and Terry Redlin paintings.
Survivors include three brothers, Wayne (JoAnne) Parrow of Hendrum, ND, Roger (Judy) Parrow of Fargo, ND, and Harold (Cleo) Parrow of Moorhead, MN; one sister, Frances Sanders of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Donald.
