Keith "Bozo" D. Piechowski

Keith "Bozo" D. Piechowski, 56, Fargo, ND, formerly of Fairmount, ND, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, at his home.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday, July 6, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Fairmount with Father Scott Sautner officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Anthony's Calvary Cemetery, Fairmount.  Active urn bearer will be Bruce Piechowski.  Honorary urn bearers will be Frank Klein and Kraig Birchem.

Visitation will be Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church. The Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt, SD, is in charge of the arrangements.

Keith David was born on Flag Day, June 14, 1961, to Leo and Julie (Andresen) Piechowski. He grew up in Fairmount, ND, where he attended school and graduated in 1979. After graduation, he worked at Minn-Dak Co-op, Krause Brothers Construction, and Bladow Construction, all of Wahpeton. He finished out his career at American Crystal Sugar in Hillsboro, ND, before retiring due to health reasons.

Bozo liked to spend his spare time going to garage sales and thrift stores, where he found treasures and interesting things, as well as watching old television shows like "The Twilight Zone" and "Alfred Hitchcock Presents." He also enjoyed playing the lottery. Keith was also a beloved "Uncle Bozo" to his nieces and nephews, who always loved getting the random gifts he found for them.

Bozo is survived by his mother, Julie; brothers, Bruce Piechowski and Jerry (Stacey) Piechowski, both of Fargo; sisters, Louisa (Dominic Acosta) McFarlen of Grand Forks, Loretta (Dylan) Moran of Wahpeton, Andrea Piechowski of Fargo, Melissa Nudell of West Fargo, and Rhonda Piechowski of Fargo; nieces, Amanda (Brent) Krutzig and her daughters Nevaeh and Evelyn of Simpsonville, SC, KeAnna Piechowski, Katlyn and Aubrey Piechowski, all of Fargo, and Ashley Acosta of Grand Forks; and nephews Leo (Daphne) Taylor and their son Emmerson of Fairmount, Jacob Nudell of West Fargo, Derek (Emilee) McFarlen of Fort Collins, CO, Denver and Sawyer Piechowski of Fargo; and Donavan Acosta of Grand Forks.

Keith was preceded in death by his dad, Leo; sister, Lucinda; maternal grandparents Carl and Julia Andresen; and paternal grandparents Joseph and Florence Piechowski.
