Julie Ann Lamers, 46, Browns Valley, MN, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at Sanford Health Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
Funeral mass was Monday, September 27, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Browns Valley with Father Joe Vandeberg officiating.  Music was provided by organist Norma Jung and vocalists were the St. Anthony's Choir.
Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery, Browns Valley.  Pallbearers were Shawn Lamers, Seth Lamers, James Lamers, Jr., Josh Lamers, Jeff Schmidt, and Evan Ziemer.
Visitation was Sunday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Browns Valley.
Julie Ann Lamers was born February 22, 1964, in Sisseton, SD, to Edward H. and Alvina (Lewandowski) Lamers.  She was baptized, made her first communion, and confirmed at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Browns Valley.  She attended school in Browns Valley.
Julie Ann enjoyed all animals, especially kittens and puppies.  She also liked listening and dancing to country and western music and polkas.  Above all, Julie Ann was the greatest hugger and chore girl.  Every morning she helped with chores and she enjoyed riding in the trucks with her brothers.  She loved holding her nieces and nephews when they were babies and was always ready to give a hug.
Survivors include her parents, Ed and Alvina Lamers of Browns Valley; brothers and sisters, Michele and Greg Schmidt of Beardsley, MN, Ed J. Lamers, James and Beverly Lamers, and Steve and Shelley Lamers all of Browns Valley; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Julie Ann was preceded in death by her grandparents and her niece, Lisa Schmidt.
