John P. Eneboe, 42, Rosholt, SD, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Funeral services were Tuesday, May 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in New Effington with Rev. Bill Ahlfeldt and Rev. Harold Watrous officiating.
Burial was in the Garden of Rest Cemetery, New Effington. Pallbearers were David Skog, Clyde Broz, Gary Siegel, Paul Ellingson, Jeff Gabbert, and Steve Gabbert.
Visitation was Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt. Visitation continued Tuesday one hour prior to the service at church.
John Paul was born November 11, 1969, to Dean and Janette (LeClair) Eneboe in Wheaton, MN. He was baptized and confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in New Effington. He attended school in New Effington and graduated from Rosholt High School in 1989. John then graduated from NDSSS in Wahpeton, ND, and Mayville State University in Mayville, ND, with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Real Estate.
At age 15, John was diagnosed with severe arthritis. He held various jobs, but because of failing health was unable to continue working. On May 29, 2009, John suffered a broken neck from an accidental fall at his home and has since lived at various facilities throughout the area.
John's hobbies included hunting, fishing, and collecting guns and knives. He loved spending time with his dogs, Winchester and Remington.  He also enjoyed cooking, grilling and sharing his favorite recipes. John requested everyone dress in casual attire at the service.
Survivors include his parents, Dean Eneboe and Janette Brandenburger of Rosholt.
John was preceded in death by his stepfather, Nicky Brandenburger; grandparents, Rudolph and Esther Eneboe and George and Esther LeClair; stepgrandfather, Ray Pomploon; uncle Rodney Sand, and aunt Arlys Nelson.
