Jodi Lynn Taylor, 46, Rosholt, SD, passed away at her home August 5, 2012, surrounded by family and friends.
Funeral services were Wednesday, August 8, at 10:30 a.m. at Bethania Lutheran Church in Rosholt with Rev. Nancy Quatier officiating. Music was provided by Paul and Lana Sand.
Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Lee, Dominik Ostby, Noah Goulet, Jamie Broz, and Doug Broz.
Visitation was Tuesday, August 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt.
Jodi was born August 1, 1966, in Tucson, AZ. She moved to Appleton, MN, as an infant, and in 1971 she moved to Rosholt, and later to New Effington. Jodi attended school in Rosholt and New Effington.
In 1986 Jodi married Steven Taylor in Alexandria, MN. After their marriage, they moved to Belle Plaine, IA, where she was employed by NAPA delivering auto parts. She then moved to Alexandria where she worked as a cook at a daycare. Later, Jodi moved to Rosholt where she worked at the Rosholt Care Center as a cook and also operated her own cleaning business.
Jodi enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR, and spending quality time with her friends and family. Recently she was able to attend a NASCAR race at the Kansas City Speedway.
Jodi is survived by her partner, Mike Lee of Rosholt; children, Amanda (Justin) Ostby of Claire City, SD, Noah Goulet of Breckenridge, MN, and Carrie Goulet of Alexandria, MN; a grandson, Dominik Ostby; her parents, Doug and Carol Broz of Rosholt; a brother, Jamie (Leslie) Broz of Rosholt; nephew, Jackson Broz of Rosholt; grandmother Mildred Olson of Rosholt; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Broz and her grandparents.
