Jenna Marie Braun

Jenna M. Braun, 13, Rosholt, SD, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Funeral Mass was Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Rosholt with Father Tony Dummer, OMI, officiating. Music was provided by organist Lana Sand.
Burial was in the St. Nicholas Cemetery, rural Rosholt. Pallbearers were Steve Keller, Jerry Keller, Craig Pearson, Loran Braun, Randy Braun, Dennis Braun, Sam Baerlocher, and Bob Rossow.      Visitation was Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church. Visitation continued Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Jenna Marie was born March 3, 2000, in Fargo, ND, to Chuck and Netti (Keller) Braun. She was baptized and confirmed by Fr. Peter Hughes in Fargo when she was 12 minutes old.
Jenna found joy in small things. She liked her pinwheel and crunchy paper. She liked to tap her cards and click her feet. Little kids somehow knew Jenna was special, and they were drawn to her. She loved to hear them laugh and play.
Her smile would melt our hearts, and we felt so lucky when she would share one with us. When her brothers bent down to kiss her, she promptly pulled their hair, and they always gladly let her do it.
Strolling around was one of Jenna's favorite things to do.
We are so humbled that the Lord chose us to be her family.
Jenna never spoke a word, but she could teach you things about life like no one else could. You just had to listen a little differently.
Survivors include her parents, Chuck and Netti Braun of Rosholt; brothers, Landon and Taylor of Moorhead, MN; grandfather, Edward Keller of Tintah, MN; grandmother, Margaret Braun of Rosholt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jenna was preceded in death by her sister, Hailey; uncles, Mark Braun and Rusty Keller; grandfather, Delmar Braun; and grandmother, Dorothy Keller.
