Georgene Davidson

Georgene M. Davidson, 79, died Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Tekakwitha Living Center in Sisseton, SD.

Georgene M. Davidson was born to John and Myrtle (Warner) Ringsaker on September 12, 1943, in Britton, SD.

Throughout the years, Georgene had many jobs, which included being a CNA, seamstress, housekeeper, working at a hunting ranch, and raising ostriches.  She enjoyed crocheting, collecting wolves, deer, puzzles, and traveling to different state parks of the country.

In August of 1984, Georgene married Kermit (Jim) Davidson in Sisseton.  They lived in many places throughout their journey of life:  New Effington, Rosholt, Stickney, SD, Bemidji, MN, Willmar, MN, and Del Rio, Crystal City and Uvalde, TX.  Georgene had four children from a previous marriage, Daniel, Sherry, Wanda, and Lauri.  Jim had two children from a previous marriage, Jim and Kenny Davidson.

Georgene is survived by her children, Daniel Habeck of Sisseton, Sherry (Philip) Gray of Fargo, ND, Wanda (Oscar) Martinez of Venus, TX, and Lauri Ringsaker of Fargo.  Siblings include Pamela (Rick) Bohn and Dawn Ringsaker.  Georgene was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Georgene was preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle Ringsaker; her husband, Jim Davidson; grandsons, John Habeck and Christopher Chapples Martinez; and siblings John Ringsaker and Larry Ringsaker.
