Evelyn P. Palm, 100, Elk River, MN, passed away peacefully at Guardian Angels Care Center on July 25, 2013.
Funeral services were Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Lutheran Church in rural Rosholt, SD.
Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church.
Evelyn was born July 14, 1913 in Belfield, ND. She is a former teacher and missionary in East Africa.
Preceded in death by her husband Rev. Harald; sisters Lucille, Luella and Ardys; brothers Marvin, Murl and Milton.
Survived by her children: Duane (Lola) of Big Lake, MN, Beatrice (Ben) Bastyr of Otsego, MN, and Eugene (Debbi) of Nikiski, AK; grandchildren, Melanie (Corey) Mozey of Wichita, KS., Lisha (Simon) Keane of Brisbane, Australia, Kristen Palm of Seattle, WA., Eric Bly of Big Lake, MN., Steven Bastyr of St. Paul, MN., David Bastyr of Otsego, MN.,Chris (Molly) Palm of Anchorage, AK., Kari (Kyle) Hughes of Chico, CA., and Jackie (James) Ostroot of Kenai, AK; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Carter and Faith Mozey of Wichita, KS., Xavien and Jonah Keane of Brisbane, Australia; brothers, Rev. Leslie Peterson of Menomonie, WI., Rev. Dean (Elaine) Peterson of Bonners Ferry, ID. and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and her missionary family.

A memorial service will be held later at Central Lutheran Church, Elk River on Labor Day weekend.
