Dorothy V. Huehn

Dorothy V. Brandenburger Sluss Huehn, 87, Rosholt, SD, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Sanford Health in Wheaton, MN.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 25, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. with Rosary service at 6:30 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Rosholt.

Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 26, at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Rosholt with Father Jerome Ranek officiating. Music will be provided by organist Kay King.

Burial will be in the St. Nicholas Cemetery, rural Rosholt. Pallbearers will be Joe Sluss, John Sluss, Jonathan Huehn, Michael Huehn, Nicholas Shaw and Donnie Thomas. The Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her sons, Bob (Jean) Sluss, Jerry (Pam) Sluss, Dan (Liz) Huehn; daughters, Darlene Hopper and Anna Shaw; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Art (Connie) Brandenburger; and sisters, Charlotte, Evelyn, Mary Ann and Shirley.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard and Walter "Wally"; daughter, Judy Jo; grandson, Elmer Leonard; parents, Nick and Mary Brandenburger; four brothers, Walter, Paul, Chuck and Nick; three sisters, Florence, Bernice, and Irene; and cousin Vince.
