Donna J. Kittelson

Donna J. Kittelson, age 85, Rosholt SD, formerly of Victor, SD, died Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the Countryside Inn Assisted Living in Rosholt, SD.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 1, at 10:00 a.m. at Bethania Lutheran Church in Rosholt, with Rev. Nancy Quatier officiating. Music will be provided by organist Lana Sand.

Burial will be in the Brandvold Cemetery near Victor. Pallbearers will be Dale Ceroll, Alan Sand, Nathan Herman, Ryan Alfson, Corey Johnson, and Brodey Johnson.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt and will continue Saturday morning one hour prior to the service at the church.

Donna Jeanne was born on March 2, 1934, to William R. and Cora J. (Chase) Trom in New Effington, SD. She graduated from New Effington High School. Donna was a resident of Victor, SD, most of her adult life after marrying Edwin Kittelson on February 27, 1954, at St. Joseph Lutheran Church in rural Rosholt. Edwin passed away February 12, 1995.

Donna loved to bowl, garden and made many quilts for all of her loved ones.  She spent several years working at the Rosholt Nursing Home and the Victor Supper Club where she enjoyed visiting with all the people she knew.

Donna is survived by sons Ken Kittelson of Watertown, SD, Joel (Arlyn) Kittelson of Andover, MN, and Kim Kittelson of Rosholt, SD; brothers Roger Trom of Minnesota and Peter (Joanne) Trom of Arizona; grandchildren Stephanie (Nate) Herman, Abby (Ryan) Alfson, Katie (Corey) Johnson, Amanda (Dave) Miller, and Sara (Brodey) Johnson; many great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Kittelson; parents; and sister Coleen Manee.

Donna will be greatly missed by all.
