Cynthia Meyer-Payiva

July 26, 1954 – November 22, 2023

On November 22, 2023, Cynthia Jean Meyer rode the white horse to heaven.  Born to Russell and Jean Meyer, Cyndy grew up horseback riding and exploring the shores of Lake Traverse, SD.  Cyndy delighted in road and ski trips with her children and granddaughter, painting plein air, molding little horses, floating the river, visiting the Bahamas, and later Italy.

Cyndy is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Jean Meyer; and her son, James.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessica and Jordan; granddaughter, Madison; husband, Don; and siblings, Keith (Jeanne) Meyer and Paul (Kathy) Meyer.

In her own words: "This life has been the sweetest of adventures.  It is with great reluctance I leave this beautiful life.  Be comforted that I smile and sing as I ride the white horse home to a grand reunion in heaven.  Happy Trails, Cyndy."

The family will gather to Celebrate Cyndy's Life on Saturday, August 17.  This is Threshing Bee weekend in Rosholt, a time when she often traveled home enjoying the sunflower fields along the road and meeting up with her family and friends.  Blessed be her memory.
