Curtis "Curt" A. Davidson, 83, Beardsley, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, in his home after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
Graveside services will be Thursday, August 26, at 10:00 a.m. at the Midway Cemetery, rural Beardsley.
Curtis Allyn Davidson was born December 31, 1937, to Clarence and Phyllis (Schindler) Davidson in Graceville, MN. He was baptized at the Graceville Lutheran Church and confirmed at the Beardsley Lutheran Church. He attended school in Chokio and Beardsley graduating from Beardsley High School in 1956. In 1959, Curt joined the Minnesota National Guard and served in the Ortonville, MN, unit until 1965.
On May 29, 1965, Curt was united in marriage to Janet Lubbers in Browns Valley, MN. After their marriage, Curt farmed in the Beardsley area.
Curt was an Arthur Township supervisor from 2002 to 2020. In his youth, he liked playing sports which later evolved into watching sports. He enjoyed hunting with his dog and visiting and coffee with friends. Most of all, Curt loved being a farmer ~ watching his crops grow and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Davidson of Beardsley; children, Susan Davidson of Circle Pines, MN, Chris Davidson of Beardsley, and Doug Davidson of Morris, MN; grandchildren, Adam (Shannon) Sykora of Princeton, MN, Kadee Davidson of Rosholt, and Ema Davidson of Freiburg, Germany; one great-grandson, Alexander Sykora; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Curt was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Phyllis Davidson; sister, Connie Shubert, brother-in-law, Richard Lubbers; and mother and father-in-law, Herman and Mary Lubbers.
