Clyde West

Clyde Neville West, 83, Rosholt, passed peacefully on October 5, 2022, at the Countryside Inn in Rosholt.

A private family service will take place at a later date at Davis Funeral Home in Las Vegas.

Clyde was born on December 5, 1938, to John and Avis West in Quintown, AL.  From 1957 to 1965, he was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force specializing in heating and cooling and was stationed at Nellis Airforce Base in Las Vegas. There he met his wife Evelyn and raised three children Clyde, Rebecca, and Johnny.  After leaving the Air Force, Clyde worked in Refrigeration for many years. He later was employed in hotel maintenance and retired from Bally's MGM.

Clyde coached baseball and football and was a Boy Scout Master.  He enjoyed bowling, cooking and his grandchildren.

Clyde is survived by his children, Clyde West (Bobbi Davis) of Las Vegas, NV, Rebecca (James) Hoffman of Holloway, MN, and Johnny (Tami) West of Silver Spring, FL; grandchildren, Cory Hoffman, Shelbee West, Tanner West, Amanda West, Bryce West, and Brytani West.

Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn West in 2003; his parents; and many other dear friends and family.
