Brian K. Eggers

Brian K. Eggers, 55, Wheaton, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at his home in Wheaton.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 5, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt.

Brian Kent Eggers was born October 10, 1967, in Sisseton, SD. He grew up and attended school in Rosholt, later graduating from Watertown High School in 1985.

Brian enjoyed going to sales, whether it be rummage sales, auction sales, or garage sales, and buying and selling on eBay. He also liked working on cars and going fishing. He loved spending time with family and was able to fulfill one of the items on his bucket list by going on an alligator and hog hunt with his brother and nephews. Brian's favorite pastime was spending time with his grandkids.

Brian is survived by his daughters, Kayleah (Justin) McKinney of Tea, SD, and Mercedes (Calvin) DeHeer of Sioux Falls; grandchildren, Brenna DeHeer, Harper DeHeer, Troy Bau, Owen Kennedy, and Liam McKinney; sister, Shelly Hofer of Henderson, NV; and brothers, Rob (Twyla) Eggers of Redfield, SD, and Michael Youngberg.

Brian was preceded in death by his loving fiancée, Michele Odman in 1994; parents, Arla and Charlie Youngberg; brother-in-law, Marlin Hofer; sister, Kristie Jo; and an infant brother.
