Bradley Dalberg

Bradley Dalberg, 37, Wahpeton, passed away December 14, 2025, in Wahpeton.

Private family funeral services will be held.  Honorary urn bearers will be Zach, Tessa, Charles, and Ben Dalberg.

Bradley Charles Dalberg was born on December 15, 1987, to Elaine Dalberg and Jerome "Jerry" Lakness. Bradley was born prematurely and had to be flown to Fargo, ND, by jet because it was too cold for a helicopter. Bradley was later baptized in Sisseton, SD.

Bradley and Elaine lived in Sisseton for several years before they moved to Lidgerwood, ND, where he started school. Bradley and Elaine moved to Milnor, ND in 2002, after Elaine married Brad Griggs. Bradley later graduated from Milnor High School, and he then continued his education at the North Dakota State College of Science and studied diesel technology.

Bradley worked a variety of different jobs throughout his life. He particularly liked driving beet truck and working with farmers. He also worked at Bobcat, drove for DoorDash, and had other jobs while he lived in Fargo.

Bradley loved golfing, fishing, and reading books, especially Harry Potter. He also enjoyed playing board games and camping with his cousins. Bradley loved animals, especially his childhood dog, Dexter. There wasn't a dog that he didn't care for.

He is survived by his father Jerome "Jerry" (Dawn) Lakness; brother, Clint (Amy) Lakness; stepfather, Brad Griggs; aunts and uncles, Gail Kelly, Lorraine Fletcher, Connie (Kermit) Anderson, Ardes (Jerry) Bybee, Melissa Dalberg, Norman (Kathy) Dalberg, and Darwin Osterman; along with numerous cousins, many of whom considered Bradley a brother.

Bradley is preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Griggs; his grandparents, Ole and Alice Dalberg; his aunts and uncles, Mavis Osterman, Bev (Dennis) Vig, Joanne (Howard) Roth, Keith Kelly, Carlton Fletcher, Phillip Peterson, and Harold Dalberg whom he spent so much time with.
