Bonnie Warrington, age 78, of Webster, SD, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Sun Dial Manor in Bristol, SD, with her devoted husband by her side.
Visitation will take place at Christ the King Catholic Church in Webster on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. John's Catholic Church in Rosholt with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Bonnie will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Rosholt.
Her grandsons—Ryan Hahn, Aaron Hahn, Christopher Hahn, Jared Hahn, Fayez Khalil, Jacob Braun, Ethan Enwiller, Tanner Enwiller, Ryker Warrington, Lennox Warrington, and Tyler Sjovall—will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include granddaughters Kymberlea Smith, Megan Sjovall, Emily Kilstrom, Elizabeth Kilstrom, Taelyn Warrington and the caregivers of Sun Dial Manor.
Bonnie Lea Eggers was born on January 17, 1947, in Wheaton, MN, to Orlen and Mildred (Blair) Eggers. She attended school through 8th grade in Browns Valley, MN, and graduated from Rosholt High School.
Bonnie married Jerome Enwiller on June 17, 1964, and together they had three children: Annette Frances (1964), Lisa Marie (1966), and Joey Orlen (1971). Later, on February 9, 1990, she married the love of her life, Roger Warrington in Sisseton, SD, gaining four children: Scott, Dean, Holly, and Craig.
Bonnie's professional life included roles at First State Bank in New Effington and Sisseton, SD, the Davison County Extension Office in Mitchell, SD, and Sanford Hospital in Webster, SD, where she was named Employee of the Year in 2011. She also co-owned and operated B & C Ceramics in Sisseton with her sister, Carol Broz.
Bonnie enjoyed quilting, playing cards, camping with her family, and cherishing time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She especially loved holding and rocking her grandchildren as babies. In 2022, she moved to Sun Dial Manor in Bristol, where she enjoyed assembling puzzles and snuggling with puppies brought to her by her caregivers.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Roger Warrington; her daughters Annette (Keith) Hahn and Lisa (Jim Wirtz) Enwiller, and her daughter-in-law, Crystal Enwiller, all of Rosholt; Scott (Courtney) Warrington of Greenville, IA, Dean Warrington of Nashville, TN, Holly (Ryan) Sjovall of Rapid City, SD, and Craig (Alicia) Warrington of Sioux Falls, SD; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Bonnie is also survived by her brothers Robert Eggers and Allen (Margaret) Eggers of Rosholt, Dale (Jean) Eggers of Carrington, ND, and Bruce (Linda) Eggers of Chamberlain, SD; brothers-in-law Doug Broz of Rosholt; Butch (Donnetta) Warrington of Hartford, SD, sisters-in-law Peggy Eggers of Graceville, MN, Patty Christensen of Rosholt; Dianne (Larry) Schmidt of Sioux Falls and Kathleen (Lauren) Johnson of Bristol; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Terry Eggers and Larry Eggers; sister Carol Broz; her son, Joey; and brother-in-law Ron Warrington.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to Sun Dial Manor.
