Angeline M. Wieser, 93, Rosholt, SD, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Coteau des Prairies Hospital in Sisseton, SD.

Funeral Mass will be Friday, January 13, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Rosholt with Father Jerome Ranek officiating. Music will be provided by organist Lana Sand

Burial will be in the St. Nicholas Cemetery, rural Rosholt. Honorary pallbearers will be Angeline's grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. Active pallbearers will be Randy Wieser, Gregg Wieser, Ray Bernard, Mark Wieser, Myron Wieser and Joe Wieser.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the church.

Angeline Marie Bernard was born May 23, 1923, at home on the farm in Richland County, ND, to Adolph and Caroline (Neubaur) Bernard. She was the third child born in a family of eleven. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Hankinson, ND. Angeline was educated in rural schools until the eighth grade and sacrificed a higher education to help her folks on the farm. After working at various other jobs, she met Anthony Wieser.

On October 7, 1943, Angeline married Anthony Wieser at St. Philip's Catholic Church, Hankinson. They farmed on a farm near Rosholt until Tony's death in 1983. Eight children blessed their union.

Angeline enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and quilting. She also loved reading and being outside.

Survivors include six children, Annette (David) Renelt of Lake City, MN, Agnes (Bob) Lord of Blunt, SD, Stephen (Jan) Wieser of Richardton, ND, Dorothy (Cal) McLaughlin of Watertown, SD, Mary (Rick) Martinek of New Effington, SD, and Donald (Kelly) Wieser of Langford, SD; 20 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Margaret Schiltz of Hankinson, Teresa Schiltz of Rosholt, and Julia (Clyde) Klosterman of Mooreton, ND; sisters-in-laws, Esther Bernard of Hankinson, Janice Wieser of Rosholt, and Lorraine Wieser of Wahpeton; and brother-in-law, Aly Zach of Breckenridge, MN.

Angeline was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; son, Stanley; daughter, Caroline; daughter-in-law, Lynda; grandson, David Renelt; brothers, Vincent, Kenneth and Dennis; sisters, Marcella, Doretta, Marion and Valeria; and several sisters and brothers-in-law.
